Thanks! It was unexpected since I was relying on the DPS website to allow me to change my address

Yep I was banking on the DPS website as well. I read another forum member submitted online a few days within us and got his status changed online. DPS sure works in mysterious ways.

Nice! I am glad to see I wasn't the only one who's status hasn't changed online. Below is a timeline for my CHL for you guys/gals that are waiting for your CHL; I should also note I have lived in the same county for all my life. I have moved around from place to place but not outside the county.

6/13 Class Completed
6/16 Fingerprint Completed
6/17 Transaction of Fingerprint received via email
6/18 Submitted paperwork to DPS
6/22 DPS confirmation email received
7/9 Contacted DPS by phone, status has been approved for CHL will receive in 7-10 days
7/11 Received CHL

It took 19 days to receive my CHL after receiving the confirmation email. Hang in there your time will come and you will have your CHL in hand.
