Re: OPEN CARRY COUNTDOWN-
I dropped my concealment vest at the rifle range at the prestigious Frisco Gun Club and a "boy" came in and asked if I am a "PD". What PD? I am an Armed Citizen. I was told rules and regulation of the club that you cannot OC here at the range, I responded that it was no illegal and I asked when OC is legal as of 1/1/2016 what is the policy? We do not know yet. Duh, all their employees are allowed to OC. So, why not Founding members of the club?
Less than 180 days to OC in TX.

Re: OPEN CARRY COUNTDOWN-
If it is then it's their right not to open carry, just as it's their right to OC if they so choose to.Oldgringo wrote:179 is a larger number than the number of folk you will see in an OC mode on 1 January ...I betcha'.big454 wrote:179 days to go

Re: OPEN CARRY COUNTDOWN-
Now that OCT has generated another big stink, this time with Whataburger, how many other fast food joints are going to follow along and post 30.07? I'm guessing a lot, because the mental pictures of the AR's slung are still fresh, and OCT continues to generate noise about their absolute rights without respect for the rights of the property owner. I fear that OC will become a moot point once Jan 1st rolls up.

I think McDonalds and all the other fast food places should get a license to sell beer with the meals. Then certain subject would be moot.

Re: OPEN CARRY COUNTDOWN-
173 days until open carry . Also since I started this thread I have had 2 LEO contacts and both have been a non event. I don't have any reason to believe it will be any different with open carry. I was pulled over for not having a front plate on my C5 vette and I honestly don't have any intention of putting a plate on. See I get some direct airflow to my intercooler . :) The second time I was speeding 70 in a 55 and got a warning . Note on this stop I was headed to work and had my weapon in my console . The officer asked if he could see my weapon . I gave it to him and he put in the back of my pickup and gave it to me at the end of the stop.

Keep calm and carry.
