It was an honor to be present as a representative of the NRA at the history-making signing of HB910. No, we weren't asleep; we were reading his signature.

I mostly read about the legislative stuff, don't see faces often. So standing in the first row behind Gov Abbott is Senator Estes, correct? Then Charles Cotton. Who is the tall guy in the red tie? And someone completely blotted out by the camera lense.Charles L. Cotton wrote:[ Image ]

Yes, that's Sen. Estes. The tall guy you asked about is Rep. Fletcher who carried SB11 in the House. The tall guy behind me is John Bennett, an attorney on Sen. Estes' staff. The guy in the back left is with Red's.ELB wrote:I mostly read about the legislative stuff, don't see faces often. So standing in the first row behind Gov Abbott is Senator Estes, correct? And I think the guy covered by the camera lens is Rep. Phillips.

I actually think you don't have to wait that extra second. I believe 12:00:00 is considered the next day.viking1000 wrote:It is a law as of today but doesnt take effect till 1 second past midnight January 1st 2016.big454 wrote:Well I know it gets implemented on 01/01/2016 but doesn't it become law in Sept. 2015?

Wow, that is pretty incredible Chas. Glad to have you doing so much for us by the way, I don't think any of us tell you that enough. What are your thoughts now that it's signed?Charles L. Cotton wrote:[ Image ]
