Hindsight is 20/20, but his is changing history. His actions in the video don't appear to reconcile with his current statement. However, if I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt I hope he begins with obeying the law, giving respect and avoiding confrontation.
I like to keep this handy... for close encounters.

Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.
There is no safety in denial. When seconds count the Police are only minutes away.
Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

:iagree:, all those plus the HOA.

If this is not a public pool, somebody was trespassing in, and about, this unfenced (?) "attractive nuisance", eh?

What are you talking about?
I dunno'... :headscratch . I'm not a learned trial lawyer, it was something I read about responsibilities and swimming pools a long time ago. I apologize for offending the more learned herein.
Doesn't take a law degree to read and comprehend a simple story. If you'll take a moment to read the thread you'll see for yourself just how far in left field your comments are.

I've been put in my place. There's nothing left for me to do but put a sack over my head, sit in a corner somewhere, contemplate the meaning of life and read my Dick Tracy comic and Captain Marvel comic books. :nopity

Mom in fight suspended by BOA.

Social media users did some research and found that Allbritton worked for Bank of America.

After the video surfaced, an action group Dallas Communities Organizing for Change launched a Twitter campaign asking Bank of America to take action against this woman.

Is it safe to assume that all of the children who were trespassing will be suspended from school, or a least extra-curricular activities? And the mom who allowed her 20 year old daughter to throw the party - has the HOA started eviction proceedings against her.

We don't want to be showing any favoritism now, right?

Yea, I'm glad HOAs can't actually do that.

HOA board of directors can only change the rules of use for the park/pool.

It was said tongue in cheek. The schools can't suspend the kids from school either.

But, it's a sad world we're living in.

That's right out of the Saul Alinsky and SJW handbooks the left uses to extinguish dissent. The left in this country brooks less dissent over cherished dogma than the Catholic Church did in the Middle Ages. If you're not 100% in alignment with whatever the current SJW dogma happens to be then you're not entitled to even have a job...much less any speech or other rights. They're good, we're evil, and being evil they'd love nothing more than to have us caged or killed. Even though under the current administration the left has crawled out from their rocks and felt more freedom to say what they really think I don't believe most conservatives and libertarians have yet come to grips with the true nature of those who oppose liberty.

I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

And the lunacy continues:

Alberto Iber lost his job as the principal at North Miami Senior High School after he wrote a comment about the McKinney, Texas incident on the Miami Herald’s website.

“He did nothing wrong,” Iber wrote. “He was afraid for his life. I commend him for his actions.”

Three sentences. Sixteen words. Sixty-two characters.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools released a statement on June 10 announcing that Mr. Iber had been removed from his position at the high school and reassigned to an administrative position.

The district said they require their employees to conduct themselves “in a manner that represents the school district’s core values.”
I guess supporting local police is not one of the school district's core values. Great thing to be teaching their students.

Social Justice Warrior. A pejorative term for an individual who repeatedly and vehemently engages in arguments on social justice on the Internet, often in a shallow or not well-thought-out way, for the purpose of raising their own personal reputation. A social justice warrior, or SJW, does not necessarily strongly believe all that they say, or even care about the groups they are fighting on behalf of. They typically repeat points from whoever is the most popular blogger or commenter of the moment, hoping that they will "get SJ points" and become popular in return. They are very sure to adopt stances that are "correct" in their social circle.

The SJW's favorite activity of all is to dogpile. Their favorite websites to frequent are Livejournal and Tumblr. They do not have relevant favorite real-world places, because SJWs are primarily civil rights activists only online.

Of course it's not, especially when it conflicts with the dogma of cultural Marxism.

The mother involved rents the house from an owner in California. I know he has been contacted about the situation, but as far as I know, has remained silent.
