No chance of passing anytime soon. Hopefully it won't start a run on ammo.
Re: Feds attempt to ban online ammunition sales
Saw something about this stuff today, Republicans are going to attach riders to funding bills to try to keep this stuff from happening. Will it work? Who knows...

In the current House, the Democrats propose and the Republicans dispose.FormerTSgt wrote:Feds Attack 2nd Amendment on the Ammunition Front:
This bill is authored by a NJ (D) with 30 (D) co-sponsors. It is Kabuki theater so they can play to their base.
The (R) House will never let this bill advance.

Looks like they've done a pretty good job of keeping this stuff in check. Might want to take a look back at what the left planned in regards to dismantling 2A under their current champion and what they have actually accomplished.FormerTSgt wrote:You've more faith in our spineless Repubs than I do.Jumping Frog wrote:In the current House, the Democrats propose and the Republicans dispose.FormerTSgt wrote:Feds Attack 2nd Amendment on the Ammunition Front:

I've been keeping a keen eye on it. I'm just saying there's never a time to rest when it comes to this stuff.jmra wrote:Looks like they've done a pretty good job of keeping this stuff in check. And I'm just saying that the unwarranted verbal attacks on the only group preventing what you fear from becoming reality is unproductiveFormerTSgt wrote:I've been keeping a keen eye on it. More accurately, a single democrat from a famously antigun state has sponsored a bill, which is in committee, in a House with a significant republican majority. I'm pretty sure that the republican party, for all of its fecklessness, understands that banning online ammunition sales would go a long way toward guaranteeing their irrelevancy in all future elections.Sponsor: Rep. Watson Coleman, Bonnie [D-NJ-12] (Introduced 05/12/2015)
Committees: House - Judiciary
Latest Action: 06/01/2015 Referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations.
The Judiciary Committee has referred it to its subcommittee on crime, terrorism, homeland security, and investigations.
