I'd be in, in person if its held relatively close to Austin.
Would definitely watch online if I could not make it.

I'm for going depending on the timing and location, of course. I don't mind a good road trip, but there are limits since I'm way up here by the Red River now.

Nope. No need to show the world a house divided.
This is meant with respect Charles, so please take it a such, but why in the world would you want to elevate any of them to your level or stoop down to theirs?
Hopefully next leg cycle everyone can either:
(A) Work together.
or
(B) Not trip over each other.

I am always up to seeing an intellectual discussion. If it is near Houston I would attend.

I understand what you're saying. And can respect it. But I'd much rather it be made clear that C.J. and Kory are not part of the main stream and not representative of most of us. Charles is a great person to put up to show that most of us are more reasonable. (sane)

This one would be one sided or more of an intellectual lecture than a discussion.sugar land dave wrote:I am always up to seeing an intellectual discussion. If it is near Houston I would attend.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

My purpose in proposing this is to let Texas gun owners who are involved see why the NRA and TSRA do things and to contrast that with the destructive tactics of Grisham and OCT. People need to flee from those two and work with organizations that get bills passed.steveincowtown wrote:Nope. No need to show the world a house divided.

I want to show the world that the vast majority of Texas gun owners are not remotely like Grisham and his leadership. I also believe that most of OCT's current "members" will see the light and get on board with experienced and productive gun groups, if they are allowed to hear why things were done as they were. The only thing they see or hear is the filtered propaganda Grisham wants them to hear.

Where's the poll for Charles vs Whitmire/Turner/Nevarez? Good lord knows we could have used your talent against their grossly untrue statements.

I'd make a donation to your favorite charity to see that happen. Charles could run on his 2a record and CJ could explain his...Charles L. Yes, we need to teach. Young energetic people need to learn the established ways of getting things done. I think they will choose correctly if given the chance to compare.Charles L. I answered yes. I'm sure watching Grisham and/or Watkins shrivel under Mr. Cotton's logic like a slug dumped in salt would be fun.
I do share Steve's concern that they have more to gain by simply being acknowledged by Charles, than we do by exposing them. However, it is likely Mr. Cotton's lifetime of experience, knowing whom to engage and when, is more astute than my analysis from the 5 minutes of consideration I've given it since reading this thread.
Go get em!
And like others have said, and I don't say enough, Thank you, Mr. Cotton!
