Looking at a pistol

...and wondering if I'll like shooting it, or if I can even handle it. Do we have a thread anywhere for people to meet up and shoot other member's guns before buying one for ourselves? (I'm looking at the 3.3 XDS 45).

You're in the right place to ask that question! Have you checked around at the shooting ranges around Tyler? Many shooting ranges have guns you can rent to try them out. I know Ft.Worth several, and surely Dallas. Might be worthwhile to check out.

Frisco Gun Club, you can rent their Pistol for $15 plus range fee.

Lock and Load on the south loop in Tyler I believes still rent handguns. Give them a call.
