Hit the nail square on the head. It rationally dissects the anti's arguments in a way that no reasonable person could still believe otherwise.

(If you're not a reasonable person, however, that's another story.)
Keep calm and carry.

These young people, Texas Students for Concealed Carry, have consistently done an incredible job of presenting their arguement. The OC groups could take some pointers on how they conduct themselves, and present their case.

Thanks for posting the .jpg image. The statesman.com website is so overladen by pop ups and advertising it makes it hard to read the articles with a web browser!

Great article & cross-posted.

I've got a 21 year-old CHL son who is also a college student, so this matter is close to my heart. I've also got two others in college and it would be terrific to be able to be on campus without disarming.

One of the dumbest arguments, I think, coming from UT profs is a fear their students might pull their gun during a heated debate. They aren't tazering or pepper spraying each other during these so called heated debates

All the college attending CHL's need to submit requests to the appropriate places, for permission to carry at their college. Everyone knows that they will be rejected. Take the rejection and send a copy to your Texas Senator and Texas Representatives. Along with an an explanation of this is why Texas needs to pass Texas College carry.
