Dallas Pedestrian Shoots Would Be Drive By Robber

DALLAS -- Police in Dallas are investigating a deadly shooting.

They say a man was walking on Chesterfield Drive in the Red Bird area just before midnight Wednesday when another man pulled up in a car and tried to rob him.

The pedestrian pulled out a gun and shot the would-be robber, who drove off and crashed into a bus stop.

He was taken to a local hospital where he died.

His name has not been released.

First thing I thought of, too!

I like the story - man walking , car driver pulls up a tries to rob man walking, driver gets shot, drives away , dies. Well written.
