Young shooters

I took the two boys I tutor, along with their dad, out to the range today.
They have never fired a gun before, so we worked with my dad's Ruger .22 pistol.
They had fun & learned a lot about gun safety. One didn't want me to post his target, since he didn't hit the center as much as his brother. I think they both did well & both followed safety instructions well.

While all of my 5 have been taught safe gunhandling and shoot in our backyard, I am ashamed that I have only got 2 to shoot IDPA (of course daughter is only 10).

LT can you post any pics of my 12 yo from the psc match?
Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.
