Range bags: the DANGER lurking in shooter's homes
Can anyone guess what happens when you're walking around barefoot in the living room, and your foot snags a range bag's strap between the pinky and the 4th phalanges, and the others, while you're cruising by, headed towards the kitchen?
Anyone?
Anyone?
Thursday night, I reaffirmed the scientific fact that a fairly large range bag with a fair amount of ammo and a couple of guns in it can easily be described as a non-moveable object, and is not bothered at all by the pressure exerted by the two littlest toes on someone's foot. X-rays by the PA confirmed my diagnosis yesterday.
No pix - if it's not against forum rules, it should be.

Triple ouch.
Not even x-rays for the morbid? Just teasing.

I feel for you. I can personally confirm that USAF dormitory chairs have the same effect on the left foot and bathroom door facings provide an identical reaction on the right foot.n5wd wrote:Can anyone guess what happens when you're walking around barefoot in the living room, and your foot snags a range bag's strap between the pinky and the 4th phalanges, and the others, while you're cruising by, headed towards the kitchen?

Ouch, I got where I use a pilots pen light when I get up during the night to get a drink or go to the bath room. My feet are too sensitive to be banging them into anything if I can help it.
I 'm just an Ole Sinner saved by Grace and Smith & Wesson.

So, did the two little pinkest toes get taped to the middle toe?

Spaced, taped, and wrapped with a compression bandage plus heat packs at night while the foot is elevated. Waiting on a frac boot from the Durable Medical Equipment supplier that contracts with our insurance.

Ouch! No fun at all... wishing you a speedy recovery.

I've done the same except with a Pelican case, I feel your pain.
