Two thumbs up for Comp-Tac (C-T.A.C. cant solution)

I received my C-T.A.C. in less than a week from when I placed the order. I could not seem to get enough cant so I shot J.B. an email and spoke with him on the phone. Excellent guy to deal with. He suggested swapping the front and rear straps on he holster. I swapped the straps (smooth side kept facing outward) and set the front clip at the center hole, and the rear clip at the top hole and it works perfectly. The gun sits nice and low in the wasteband and the grip is easily concealed.

I would definately do business with them again!

They are absolutely wonderful to work with. When my gurhka of theirs broke, they sent me an infidel for only the cost of shipping. They really seem to care about their products; a rarity in business these days.

I also wanted more cant, but doing the tab swap made the holster ride to low and the cant was not enough to fit my body. I bought a couple of coaster blanks (circular piece of thick leather about 3" in diameter), at a hobby shop and replaced the CTAC tabs with these. These gave me plenty of flexability to locate the clips exactly I wanted them and seem to make everything stay in place better.

How do you go about configuring the CTAC to fit? I can't really figure out which hole positions/angle the clips should be in.

Should I put my belt on and try each hole combination? How did you guys fit your CTAC?

Trial and error.

Clip the CTAC to a belt and lay it on a flat surface. Then you can then see how it rides on the belt and would fit on your waist and position the clips to make it fit as neeeded.

Yup, I had to put it on a belt and look at it that way to make sense of how changing the holes would change the canting. I've gone back and forth a couple of times between the original setup and switching the tabs, now finally settled on the "reverse" tab option. I felt like a real dummy when I finally realized that the screws on one side of the holster are the ones that determine the amount of retention. Before I backed them out a bit I would give myself a wedgie trying to draw.

Well, as embarrassing as it is, I admit it's the Front clip that's causing the most trouble. It's the C clip and I think my gut is pushing it forward and down, it never really hooks in correctly
