Maybe Running Scared for one particular scene when the main character's wife uses a gun to take out some bad people......but really, I can't think of a single movie where the use of a gun for self-defense by an ordinary citizen is portrayed positively, unless it's against zombies or an invading army.

It seems to me there are a lot of horror movies that would be cut short if the victim had a gun.VMI77 wrote:Maybe Running Scared for one particular scene when the main character's wife uses a gun to take out some bad people......but really, I can't think of a single movie where the use of a gun for self-defense by an ordinary citizen is portrayed positively, unless it's against zombies or an invading army.
Just make sure she understands that it is NOT required that the bad guy knock the gun out of your hand in preparation for the big Kung Fu fight. You can just shoot them.

Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.
