He's still a little boy,' the brother added. 'Who pulls a trigger on a 14-year-old? What if it was your little brother or your sister? How would you feel?'
as an officer told me one time after helping him catch couple "kids" that jumped out of a stolen car -- they dont come with their age tattooed on their forehead plus he would of stabbed you if he had the chance -- they bailed out and seen him trying to catch driver so i took off after one of the others tackled him to the ground and while fighting with him gave him a few good licks up beside the head he quit fighting and went to crying -- turned out he was 14 "a big 14 yr old" but also had a knife and screw driver in his waistband

This story is very poorly written. If you stop where it appears to end you think the young thief is laying in a hospital bed near death. If you scroll down you discover he has been arrested several time since for breaking into houses. This guy is going to have a very short existence.

However, although Coulter was unarmed when he was shot by Mr Landry, he was recently linked to a crime in 2012 when he is accused of entering a house where he stole a gun, threatened the homeowner and fled with the weapon.
Very poorly written indeed. I had to read it several times and still couldn't figure out how he was out and about still robbing people. His family condones his behavior so maybe its a family business. The herd needs to be thinned...
A 14 year old does not have his age tattooed on his head. If he playing stupid games, he is eligible to win stupid prizes. How about if the 14 year old was at home acting like a decent 14 year old should no harm would have come to him. I have known precious few teens to get shot playing baseball (or any other sport of their choice).

Bingo! That tells you everything you need to know about how disgusting our society has become.

You play big boy games, you can expect to be treated like a big boy. Once again, the British media with a carefully crafted story about those horrible Americans and their gun fetish.....
VMI77 wrote:It's not poorly written at all. It is very cleverly crafted to attack the concept of gun ownership and self-defense while disguised as "news."

In the UK and other disarmed countries, we are brainwashed to be upset when we read of ordinary citizens shooting criminals. We are equally brainwashed that only the State should get to shoot us, that somehow, this is 'acceptable'. The idea ordinary citizens have the power to say no, or defend our lives and property is very alien. But as our society gets more desperate and violent, as it will, stories like these make us re-assess this brainwashing. Why should only the rich and powerful and politicians have armed protection? Why? Why does Tony Blair have armed guards for life? What is so special about his life and not my elderly parents living in the country?
