Working with hubby -Purchased and put away 35 bales of hay, put away 400# of feed, took down a dead oak, trimmed tree limbs impeding ditch-mowing and driveway ingress/egress. Made burn pile for when the wind dies down. Treated 5 new bee supers with linseed oil preparing to paint them. Assembled 8 additional supers to treat and paint. Watered plants and pasture portions. Enjoyed to beautiful day!

Today's agenda, more yard work, cleaning dove cage, laundry (ick), catching the heifer since she managed to lose her lead rope. More watering (could use some of the rain we had this winter) Moving the trellis for the berry vines and getting them planted. Spreading cedar shavings around the dog yard perimeter. Finalizing the list for our upcoming Appleseed (I am so excited). My friends and family say this all sounds like work, but to me it is therapy! My little slice of farm is how I make it through my 9-5 (or 7-3).

This weekend is not pretty; however, last Thursday in Glacier NP was outstanding:

None of the concessions were open and we pretty much had it to ourselves.

Nice postcard. Where did you buy it if the concessions weren't open? ;-)

Mrs. Oldgringo and I took many photos. It's not often that one can catch such great reflections on MacDonald Lake's surface. It's really not often when the roads and trails are not clogged with people, too.

Our retirement home is now finished.

Mrs Anygunanywhere and I cooked pizza in our piza oven.

Thin crust, garlic artichoke sauce, kalamata olive, grilled chicken, three cheeses.
