my husband

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

We met with a "fellow" and her surgeon, ...and a radiologist and her resident and lots of nurses.
When my wife developed uterine cancer in '12, her gyno recommended a local Texas Oncology doc as well as suggested that MD Anderson be consulted as well. While it turned out that none of the therapies were successful, Pamela always felt like she had the A-team consulting on her situation. MD Anderson definitely went out of their way to make Pamela feel like she was in the driver's seat.

Here's hoping for a great outcome for your hubby.

I'll be praying for you & your husband.

Hugs to you Tracey. Prayers for both of you. It's wonderful he's getting such highly skilled attention. Stay strong.

Robert had his surgery today. it went better than anyone could have/should have expected. The doctor was truly amazed. ;-) I told him the team was covered in prayer.

What a wonderful God we have!

We will find out in 6 weeks at his check up if they got it all, or if there is a reason to do radiation.

That is wonderful news!

Anything that amazes the docs down there is truly a rare event.

We'll keep the prayers coming for more good news in 6 weeks.

We went in today for Robert's 6 week follow-up.

his PSA is undetectable!
his margins were clear!

so, they got all of the cancer!!!!

that means no radiation is needed!!!!

he will go in every 6 months for a PSA check and other follow-ups for the first 2 years, but they really don't expect anything.

Thank you all for your prayers over the last several months. Honestly without several of you slightly pushing us we wouldn't have really even considered MD Anderson. Our experience with them has been amazing.

I'm very happy to hear how this turned out.

God does answer prayers.

The docs played an important role as well. MDA is a place where they do the merely impossible every day, and miracles take just a little bit longer.
