I was reading my TSRA Magazine today and I observed that it posted what I believe is incorrect information on Page 19, the left hand column, the fourth paragraph. It states that under the Texas Penal Code, Chapter 46 that Switch Blade Knifes are illegal.
It is my understanding that since September 1, 2013 that part of the law regarding Switch Blade Knives has been struck down.
I'm a TSRA Member and I really hate that the organization's Publication would be putting out bad information.
I sure the Federal Law regarding Automatic Opening Knives and Switch Blade Knives is still in effect, but not the Texas Law.
If anyone has another opinion or information on this I would appreciate hearing about it.

I saw that also, but I think that is an old piece that got included in the current issue.

You should let them know so they can print a correction/retraction.
