I don't know Minnesota law but if the NFL bans ban fans carrying guns based on the NFL's property rights, then in a free society it should apply to all fans no matter who they work for.

The NFL could avoid this whole ugly ordeal by simply adopting a policy stating that no bad guys can carry there and they specifically forbid any incident from ever happening there.

Then the off duty police won't need their weapons (neither will the on duty ones)...

Can a business do that here in Texas? I seem to remember one business doing that with an ON-duty and uniformed officer and another one doing it with a few ON-duty plain clothes officers and they had to leave. Neither of those in Texas, BTW.

It will be interesting to see how that lawsuit turns out, because that's the same argument that just about anyone makes over being restricted from carrying in certain places. That shoe doesn't feel so good when it's on the other foot, does it?

Its especially odd that the NFL can claim such a policy since most stadiums are publicly funded and the NFL teams are usually just "tenants"
