Shoulder rig under white dress shirt

I've read all the shoulder harness posts (I think) and have only come across a slight reference to using one under a dress shirt. I work in a suit and tie environment and I sit about 2 hours commuting and 8 hours at a desk, so a shoulder harness, I think, would fit me better. I have the High Noon Hidden Ally tuckable, and while it's fine when standing or walking, it's a bit uncomfortable while sitting as the hammer digs into my stomach at 3:00 and goes into the seat of my car any further back than that. I'm thinking a shoulder harness would be more comfortable, but am concerned that while wearing a white dress shirt, black definitely would be visible, and even hide color would be visible through the shirt. This is a concern because I work in an open environment and people stand/walk behind me constantly. My question is, does anyone have experience in this regard, or does anyone know of a white shoulder rig?

I know of one white shoulder rig. I will have to find it. If memory serves me it is not a real quality set up.
I wear my Miami Classic under one of my White heavy cotton snap shirts.
I will take picture of it late tonight.
Under a shirt you really need to watch gun size. Starch & iron helps a lot too. Only one I wear under a tucked white shirt is my T85 Ultra Lite Tauras snubbie .38.
I do wear my Kimber Pro under a vest that is really a shirt w/ the sleeves out & the tail squared up. I do not tuck it in though.

I am also a fan of Galco's Miami Classic. Remember, you can color a natural leather holster any color you want. A lot of leather goods manufacturers use automotive lacquer spray coating as a finish (especially good for color-matched automotive interior leather, seats, etc.). Even better than white might be a color matched to your skin tones. Automotive paint supply shops can mix a matching color for you and put it in a pressurized spray can of the usual kind. You could do a two-tone camo treatment to make the package really hard to see. Coloring the gun to match is OK too, as the lacquers wash off with lacquer thinner.

You could try the kangaroo shoulder,it is white and wouldn't print as much as a regular shoulder holster.I wear one all the time with my kimber ultra carry.You could put some velcro under the buttons and be able to get it out in a hurry plus its comfortable for allday carry. sj

I carry a Sig P239/40, so it's not small. I tend to wear oversize shirts, so I should have room for it in a shoulder harness. If anyone thinks that maybe I'm wrong here, let me know.

The Monarch from Andrews Leather seems to be a shade on the pale side, so that might work without resorting to dying one. The Galco MC is nice too, so I'd be curious how that works. The shirts I wear aren't thin, but they're not as thick as Wrangler snap shirts for example.

I looked at the Kangaroo as well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but man that looks hot for waiting on the bus in downtown Houston.

srsly, I don't think that thing would be any hotter than wearing an under shirt. and maybe that's an idea. wear something under your dress shirt, and that might add some "camo" to the sichy-ation.

I wear the Kangaroo while packing my KT P-11. It is a bit slow on the draw but it hide the gun very well. It is constructed from cotton and it has been comfortable thus far.

The Andrews is good.Suede is the good color under a shirt. At work in a cool office it is OK. Sweat ruins it.

I just dont have time to take NEW PICTURES w/ my schedule the rest of this week. The Wranglers are what I wear. There are some on the board in a blue one I know. Same deal w/ white.
There is going to be a lot of forum members at the PSC gun club in Friendswood this Sat. I will be there & be glad for you to try on a Miami Classic. It is worth a 200 mile drive for me. You would have a veritable GOLD MINE of carry info at your disposal if you can come. I have been shooting for over 40 yrs, teaching personal defense for 5yrs now. I learn something every time I am around these guys & ladies.
AS a bove, I reall like the Andrews. He also makes that one in leather. I have seen one. If I every buy a new shoulder rig it will surely be that one.
I would not hesitate to carry shoulder at work w/ the shirt you have described. Gun size is the key to shoulder conceal under a dress shirt.

I do wear a white t-shirt underneath already. I was thinking of wearing the shoulder holster over the t-shirt and under the dress shirt, that way skin oils/sweat wouldn't get on the holster. I wonder if there are beige t-shirts?

I'll try the Kangaroo since it is priced so reasonably. I see that the web site mentions that the material is good for hot summer months.

Anyway, thanks LT, but I'll not be able to make it to Friendswood this weekend as good as it sounds. I do appreciate the offer and maybe I can take you up on it some other time.

Thanks to all for the responses and advice. I bought the SpecGear TRUSS and I like it! Very good concealment, which I expected, but also very good durability as of now, and it holds everything very snug and stays where I want it to. I asked a friend to tell me if he could tell where I was carrying and he couldn't find anything. I then pointed him to my torso as he kept looking at my hip, and he still couldn't find it. That'll work!

I also have ordered the Monarch from Andrew's Leather, but it's a two month wait. Not so long I guess. One question I have is whether the triple magazine pouch would be a good counterweight to a Sig P239. On the other hand, it might be too long if I want to wear it under a tucked-in shirt. Any opinions from Monarch wearers would be appreciated here regarding how low the bottom of the magazine pouch is.
