Well, my name is Roy.
And its suffice to say that anonymity and notoriety (as I told someone else here behind door #1) are a wonderful thing.
This, by far is the best forum out on the internet for what we are extremely passionate about, and the wonderful mix of knowledge and humor make this a premier stop for those seeking good advise and counsel on issues.
There's not much else to know about me, other than that.
And this place will be around for a very long time as far as I am concerned to support the need to discuss and debate these issues.

Hello from another noob.
I met up with Mr. Tom Estep at the range the other day and he invited me to join this great looking site. He said y'all were a fine bunch and didn't allow no cussin', spittin' or scratchin' yerself in public.
I am 63 years old, so I'm not really NEW too many places these days but I like this group. As a matter of fact some of the names I'm seein' in here look kind of familiar to me as I'm also known to hang around another gun sight.
I have been "into" guns for over half a century. I know longer hunt due to the arthritis in my shoulders but I own and regularly shoot numerous handguns. My daily carry is the Glock-36
I also enjoy fishing and camping on the beach.
I have a wife and two grown kids. the oldest is a boad certified oncology surgeon in New York City and the "baby" live locally and is an operator in a chemical plant. I have two grandchildren which I can't get enough of.
My favorite place to shoot is the Texas City Municipal Shooting Range on Bay Street in Texas City. I sometimes go to the Marksman on Nebraska street in South Houston or the Pasadena gun range on old Shaw street in Pasadena but I'd much rather shoot outdoors
Lookin' forward to hangin' around in here. Who know maybe this old dog can pick up a new trick or two.

Texas city is hard to beat. Nice clean place and no joining required. I hope to meet you there someday.Walkin' Jack wrote: My favorite place to shoot is the Texas City Municipal Shooting Range on Bay Street in Texas City.
