Plans to take it down to a table (unknown location until late Friday) at Market Hall this weekend (Jan. 4/5). I may not be there until around 10:00 Saturday.

This would be my dream purchase. The timing is real bad. If you are still in possession of this in a few months, I might be tempted to get serious about it. I have a semi auto Thompson that is a blast to shoot. I can only imagine the fun of a full auto session with it.Greybeard wrote:Yep, you read it right. Yep, a great way to turn money into noise, quickly. Would love to sell it to someone local, but realize it may take some time and national exposure for "the right" person.

Not that I have $18k to spare, but this is just me trying to understand the process. In a FTF sale like this, does it still require the Class 3 stamp/trust/etc in order to own it?

FTF between residents of the same state still requires a Form 4 and all that entails, but no dealer markup.LAYGO wrote:Not that I have $18k to spare, but this is just me trying to understand the process. In a FTF sale like this, does it still require the Class 3 stamp/trust/etc in order to own it?
