Tell him that his "Uncle Bill" would like one.
Bill beat me to it.

In person it is bright stainless. The grips are micarta which he makes himself, and in different colors. He gave one to his boss for Christmas with red/black micarta grips that are stunning. On the one in the picture here, he used a coping saw to cut grooves in the grips, and then filled them in with black-tinted resin to make the black lines. He's also making kydex sheaths for them, although he hasn't got a finished product to show yet.

Put me on his distribution list, too!

That's a 4.75" stainless steel blade.
We just had Christmas yesterday due to family logistics. BTW - Very nice knife, TAM! I got a couple of books, "American Sniper" and "Happy, Happy, Happy" from my wife. Also got several Duck Commander and Duck Dynasty T -shirts from the kids.

TAM,
he's developed his talent! I showed my husband, the knife lover, he's very impressed, said it's really nice!

My husband gave me a James Avery necklace. We went out shopping in Kerrville with friends on Friday, I got to pick out what I wanted, then he took us to a quilt shop I love and I got to shop there, then he offered to take us to a yarn shop in Comfort and we got to play there.
He got a Keurig and I made him shave soap in a mug with a brush, he loves it. I made those for all of the men in the family...they all seemed excited about them.

There is nothing like a good strong cup of coffee, a hot shower and close shave to brighten a man's spirit in the morning.
Well, I got a few odds and ends this Christmas (new shirt, new ballcap, a "visual encyclopedia" on armored fighting vehicles)...and a $50 Cabela's gift card from my son. So, I went and got myself a new 3-9x40 Cabela's brand scope for my Ruger 10/22. Its boresighted with the laser and now awaiting some time to get to the range to finish dialing it in.

Those are nice! The bottom one is my idea of the perfect deer knife, much like the old Buck 116 caper (no longer made) I use. BTW, Does he temper the blades himself?
