New member, time line question
I mailed mine and my wifes packets in the monday after thanksgiving, and the Texas site has yet to update for myself or her saying that they have even received our information. im starting to wonder if the website actually does anything or if they even update it. can you guys help me out ?

It's hit and miss. Some people get updates, some people get it in the mail before the system updates.
Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.

It can be two weeks or better before you see an update on the web site.

I mailed my packet off 10-14 and I haven't received any kind of update either.

I mailed mine in the 17th and have not received my first update as well.

I mailed my in the first week of November (along with a friend who took the class the week before me). He got his plastic Thanksgiving. I still don't have an update. I called last week and was told they wouldn't even check on my status until it had been 60 days.

That's because they're still in mid October. You won't see a status until mid Jan. at the soonest.

I mailed mine in on the 11th of November and my status still hasn't changed. Don't worry, you're not the only one still waiting.

I mailed mine in on the second of November and no update on the web site at all called the dept and they said it could take up to 60 days to actually post as having received to application

Vatu- they're only on mid- October. There's no point in calling right now.
