Just curious as to whether the Lila Cockrell theater in San Antonio
being posted 30.06. Have an event there I'm going to.

I have already checked the Texas3006.com site and not posted there.

The last time I was there in February, I did not see any signs.

If I remember correctly, it is owned by the City, so 30.06 would not apply.

NEVER do that! For some businesses, their response is, "Oh. Well, we will get one of those signs up promptly!"

Don't give them motivation to put up a 30.06 sign!

Thing was, we planned on walking to the event. I didn't want to get there and be surprised by the sign. I simply called and asked on their licensed carrier policy. I never once mentioned the sign to give them any ideas.
What would you guys have done upon arriving and finding the sign posted ? (honestly..) :headscratch

I would have driven by the place prior to the event and checked it out. If it is properly and legally posted I'd save myself the walk.

Our CHL instructor did of course teach us the signage rules, but his stories and innuendo made it clear to us that he has-always-and-does-now carry everywhere, irrespective of signage, or state laws or international law or what-have-you, trusting that he is Concealed and undetectable, and in 30+ years has never been exposed or otherwise gotten into trouble for this.

I don't recall that the LCT has metal detector pass-thrus.

My instructor also made it clear that he carries everywhere 24/7. He didn't make it seem like he avoided areas with 30.06 signage.
He must have much more disposable income than I do.
