Butler Creek Maglula LULA Loader for AR

#1

Post by Abraham »

Anyone use one of these things and if so, what are your thoughts?

Are they helpful?

On a side note: My Glock came with device that helps me load my magazines and I love it. Takes a little time to master it's use, but then wham, loading a magazine is fast/efficient.

I absolutely love mine. Got it new on eBay for about $22 shipped.

Yes, they are helpful, especially if you're planning on shooting a lot, or don't want to waste all your shooting time reloading mags. Worth every penny, in my opinion. The pistol one is also great.

They work great. I have one for AR15 and one for AK47. Make it very easy to load and unload magazine.

For AR AK you may not need one, for double stack pistol magazine, they are awesome.

LOVE my pistol-caliber version...
Easy to use and quite the finger-saver.

I tried the LULA at my local LGS. What I didn't like was that it seemed I needed a solid surface to rest the mag baseplate on. Without that, it felt very clumsy.

I bought the StripLULA instead and never looked back. One advantage is that you can use the StripLULA to load from stripper clips, too. :thumbs2:

I've got the StripLula/MagLula & love & highly recommend them. I'm a work smarter, not harder. I've got a buddy that just thinks that using anything like that is a waste of time & I think some how makes it less masculine. Fugedaboutit! It works & it works well. I showed him me using the StripLula & it went in flawlessly. He tried it & like intentionally sabotaged it or something so it made it worse.

It's my mantra: smarter not harder!

Much more useful, StripLULA.
