I'm in the need for something kind of custom and I don't want to be charged out the wazoo for it.
I just don't feel that a Raven holster is worth 85.00, especially with a 16 week lead time.
What I want is a Raven type OWB kydex holster and a triple mag holder for a Walther PPS. Would like both to be high-ride.
I haven't looked too hard but if I can find somewhere in DFW that sells the items needed I might try making my own.
Until then...who's got the tools, know how and willingness to help?
Any kydex workers in here?

Nick at on your 6 designshttp://onyour6designs.com/contact-us/ here in San Antonio does a great job with stock and custom kydex holsters and mag holsters. We have 4 of them. He and his crew are very responsive, easy to work with, do great work and are fairly priced IMHO. I suggest you contact him-he regularly answers the phone himself-and talk to him with your needs. I'll bet he can help you out.

You might check with the folks at White Hat Holsters in Arlington. They were very helpful in doing a one-off for my PPS/Viridian C5L combo.Medic218 wrote:...What I want is a Raven type OWB kydex holster and a triple mag holder for a Walther PPS. Would like both to be high-ride.

Re: Any kydex workers in here?
Kydex is easy to work but can be time consuming to make pretty. If you only care how it functions, you can do it yourself with a little effort and some patience. Making it look good takes more of both, so it's worthwhile to me to pay somebody else if looks matter. I did one for my multi-tool because I didn't like the nylon and velcro pouch. It's as ugly as sin but works exactly how I wanted.

I understand your point but I think mine was worth the price and wait time. I have numerous holsters and the Raven is still my favorite.Medic218 wrote:I just don't feel that a Raven holster is worth 85.00, especially with a 16 week lead time.
