Re: MA politician and Navy Seal changes view on AWB
We have come to a time in history when men lacking character are often given "leadership" roles by the political machines. With no real character or moral compass, these so-called leaders simply use political expediency as justification for the plunder of the populace. The voters need to recognize them for the dangerous parasites they are and look to elect persons of character.

This award is presented to Gabriel Gomez the RINO that believes “assault weapons” are too complicated for regular people to learn to “safely handle”. His arrogance and elitism are more in line with the Democratic party, although the anti gun crowd does not have a very high opinion of the military either.
His statement- "I was kind of skewed in thinking that people could safely handle an assault weapon," also demonstrates that he believes the voting public is also too dumb to recognize he is "changing his opinion” for political expediency. Mr. Gomez deserves this award for showing the voters exactly who he is.

God Bless America, and please hurry.

He either doesn't know or purposely distorts the difference between a true select fire assault rifle and a civilian semi automatic rifle. Neither is understandable considering his training.
Of course he is a politician from Massachusetts so maybe that tells us all we need to know.
With all due respect to those that serve (and I truly do greatly value our military members), I take a very low view of military personnel presuming to tell me, the lowly scum sucking civilian, how I should be allowed to exercise my rights.

Here's a possible alternative viewpoint....
Would you rather have this guy elected Senator from MA, or would you rather see MA elect a straight-up Libocrat.?
Now, I know some of you will say "Democrat, because at least we'll know who our enemy is", but, practically speaking, if we're hoping to take +6 Senate seats next year, how many of them do you think (honestly now) can be won by a true conservative in Massachusetts?
Yes... this same thinking got us McCain and Romney.
At least I respected Romney as a person and as a business man.
All this is just to point out that reaching the goal will require a reality check.
Like it or not.

It is really sad that we always end-up having to settle for the candidate that just quite ain't right for us...
