Someone needs to send her a questionnaire on the U.S. And Texas Constitutions and post her answers on the forum.

It's amazing that a Liberal like Wendy Davis is so limited in her thought process. As are all liberals. They will kill an innocent healthy child without batting an eye and fight tooth and nail to ban the execution of convicted killers. Maybe they're all really only protecting their own murderous desires. Wendy Davis is an ignorant small minded woman.

In light of the recent forum rules clarification from Mr. Cotton, I'm struggling to see how this qualifies as a "gun-related" political thread.

It relates because who resides in the governor's mansion has a direct bearing on future (and to a lesser degree existing) legislation that trends toward restoring 2A rights here in Texas. She is specifically a rabid anti-gun, pro abortion, California liberal, so yes...a thread about Wendy Davis and her race for governor is very relevant.

I'm pro choice, however 20 weeks has been intentionally repeated throughout the news. why don't they say half way through the pregnancy or 4 1/2-5 Months. Because its a war with words. manipulation.

I, obviously, am very liberal however I believe : "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Texas has historically had republican governors, and Texas has a very healthy rainy day fund. She will want to spend all the money on people who don't want to work. pure speculation, yes. Logical speculation, yes .

It is my opinion she will push hot topic buttons if elected not to advanced the civility and common standard of living, but soley to advance her political career for her benefit and that of those close to her.

She does not have the armed free thinking liberal's vote

Unless you're talking about the choice to carry openly or concealed, that doesn't sound like Gun-Related Political Issues.

It refers to everything, as long as your not affecting life, liberty, property, or the pursuit of happiness of anyone with a SSN or a valid visa. Including weapons.

Being raised in California, I do think this is a gun relevant topic because I know the thought process of these people; they always follow the same path as to impress their peers. It always end or begins with gun legislation.

I would vote for her if she's running against Perry, Dewhurst or Straus. Better to see the knife coming than get stabbed in the back.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

At this point, I plan on voting for Greg Abbott. However, there is no way I would ever willingly cast my vote for anyone in the Democrat Party. They want nothing more than to create a Euro-collectivist political system in the USA, and if they are successful, bye-bye self-defense. Part and parcel of them controlling this nation is "turning Texas blue". No thanks.

With that mentality you might as well reserve your spot in line at the Davis Firearm Confiscation Center.
