It's official, I'm done with the springfield XDs. I called today, SA has had mine for 33 days now and I was curious as to when I can expect it back. The girl on the line advised that they have yet to solidify a solution to the problem.
So I asked about expected timeline and she said she could not estimate. I finally got her to admit that it could be 6 months to a year before I get it back.
I am talking with SA management about a refund and will most likely be going with the Sig Sauer Carry Nightmare.
Does anyone have any experience with this particular weapon?
My buddy has a Sig 1911 and now he also has my SA EMP .40 both are outstanding firearms. I regret selling him my EMP .40 as I used part of the funds to buy a XDS 9mm.
I also have a Sig P238 and it's perfect as well. My wife has considerable experience with Sig as well military training weapon... That really should say a lot. The price is high but the product is worth it.
I am curious if they will refund your money. I would love to have my money back.
I carry a Sig P239 every day. I'm curious. What is the Sig Carry Nightmare?

Out of all the models, I like the Rubber Grip version best. It's a perfect fit for my hand with the 7 round mag and finger rest. I believe it is smaller than the XDS that I bought recently-- and, like yours, is now in the possession of SA. I love it. Smallest 9mm I've seen. If I'd seen the P938 before I got the XDS, I might not have bought the XDS in the frist place. Not as easy to shoot accurately as a full size, but with a little practice I was hitting a 10" gong at 40 yards. And it comes with tritium sights.
Oops...are we talking about the same gun....there is a P938 Nightmare....a miniature 1911....smaller than the XDS.

Link: 1911 Carry Nightmare. It is a carry version of their 1911 in their Nightmare finish.
That's very similar to my EDC, a Dan Wesson Guardian .45. The Guardian has an aluminum frame, which cuts the weight down by about 10 ounces.

It was probably one of the best shooting guns I had owned in sometime.
Ive only shot a 9mm emp once and i think i've finally decided to try and find a used one if I can. It was a freaking tack driver which seems rare for such a small firearm
