Here we go..... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/08/23/[abbreviated profanity deleted] ... ll-counts/
Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan was found guilty on all 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder Friday, making him eligible for the death penalty.

The sentencing phase of his trial was set to begin Monday.

A military jury deliberated for roughly one day before announcing the verdict.
The military hasn't executed anyone since 1961. I wonder if they'll have the stones to do it now.

Nah, take him out in front of the front gate and disembowel him...
Sell tickets and give the proceeds to the victims right after this is declared an act of terror and they all get Purple Hearts.
I'm dreaming...

How many people saw this guy do what he did and he has a right to a "fair" trial?

Knowing our legal system they will just put him in a physco hopital for the rest of his life and we get to pay for it.

I figured the only reason they had a delay in finding a verdict was due to the fact they went to play golf and smoke some cigars..

He needs to be put to death ASAP

The judge seemed determined not to allow either the prosecution or defense submit much evidence of premeditation......like when he SAID he planned it out....that was inadmissible. But they found him guilty of premeditated murder anyway. The prosecution is asking for the death penalty. By his own admission, he is a "soldier who switched sides." Back when America was America, that meant the firing squad. He was by his own admission an enemy combatant disguised in a U.S. Army uniform.

It will be interesting to see if the Army has the testicular fortitude to execute him. In another thread, I had opined that he should be asked to which country he wanted to be repatriated; and then armed with that information, we should put him on a C130, wrapped in pork fat encrusted with ground up chicharones, taken him up to 30,000 ft above the desired country, and shove him out the cargo door.........without a parachute.

Upon reflection, I don't really care what method they use, as long as they don't screw around with it, and they just kill him sooner rather than later. We don't need a "martyr" rotting in Leavenworth.

He's a psychiatrist. Talk about throwing him in the briar patch!

Because the death penalty is a possible punishment, no guilty plea is allowed.

He gets a fair trial no matter how many people saw it. I saw Jack Ruby shoot Lee H. Oswald live on TV as did countless millions in a rare for then national TV live telecast. Ruby still was entitled to a fair trial, and may have, although the appeal was granted on the grounds a motion for change of venue should have been granted. Ruby died of lung cancer before the retrial.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Dead is dead no matter the method of execution, the U.S. Government's method is lethal injection. It takes an order from the POTUS for the military to carry out an execution. It may be a long long time before he sees the 72 virgins.

Leading to having to shoot him over, and over, and over . . .

Of course he will also get the right to be buried according to his religion.

Keep him alive, adorn his cell with nude posters and feed him ham sandwiches and fried catfish daily.
