Whole lot of useless, unwarranted speculation by people who weren't there.

I couldn't tell anything from that video, except perhaps that the guy was well inside her response space, and hence, a potential physical threat.

I'm curious why an officer would order someone to exit a building, and the path the person needs to use to exit the building puts him in her response space.VMI77 wrote:I couldn't tell anything from that video, except perhaps that the guy was well inside her response space, and hence, a potential physical threat.
I'm not saying I think it was an unjustified shooting. I don't have nearly enough information to make a call like that. But that's the first question that comes to mind for me.

Bystander recorded on her cell phone the confrontation between the unarmed homeless man and the officer. Didn't sound like the homeless man was following her instructions, but it also didn't sound like he was doing anything to harm her other than using the B word.
The wonderful paradise of Southern California.
Sounds like he's now fully educated on why one should not call a woman with a gun and a badge a "B."

Maybe I'm not seeing the right articles, but I can't tell that such an order was given, or if it was, by that particular officer. The video doesn't add anything to my understanding of what happened....which at this point is basically zilch.clarionite wrote:I'm curious why an officer would order someone to exit a building, and the path the person needs to use to exit the building puts him in her response space.VMI77 wrote:I couldn't tell anything from that video, except perhaps that the guy was well inside her response space, and hence, a potential physical threat.
