Bought Me a New.....

#1

Post by anygunanywhere »

2013 Ford F250 Super Duty crew cab Lariat diesel.

Last Wednesday I climbed in my 1999 and it would not crank. Probably starter. Since we live in RV I do not have facilities to do repairs. Called road service for a tow. Called Mrs. Anygun and she tells me "Why don't you just buy a new one. You deserve it."

I says "Thank yewww!"

Hitched a ride with the tow truck and drove out 5 hours later.

To make this gun related, the back seats have locking storage all the way across. Looks big enough to store a shootgun. Pistolas will fit easily.

I manage to find lots of places to drive now. Gets pretty good mileage too. Averaging 20 mpg back and forth to work.

I love my wife. What a doll. Only thing she said was "Why did you buy another white one?"

I am glad to be back here too. I missed you guys.

Very nice truck. I'm not a ford guy, but that's a nice truck. Isn't it also the most stolen vehicle in the country?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Yeah they are very popular ecspecially down in south tx where they steal them and use them to carry drugs to and from the river. and half the time they end up in the river :mad5

Nope. IMNSHO, Dodge and Chevy just don't make it. Dodges are ugly and noisy, Chevy's are owned by obummer.

You have my sincerest condolences. The 7.3 was an excellent powerplant in a truck.

Howsomever,

I think I am going to like this 6.7 even more. 400 HP, 800 lbs/ft of torque, 3.55:1 rear gear, 6 speed automatic. LOts to love.

AIR CONDITIONED SEATS.

Are the lock boxes the same ones they put in the King Ranch versions?

I was thinking about getting some and adding them to mine.

Don't kow about the King Ranch versions. The ones in mine are the shape of the seat bottom and are attached to the seat. Looks like to get them out would require the seat to be unbolted. They look pretty solid. Not sure if you can add them.

The lock is on the side and requires the ignition key to unlock.

The ones in the King Ranch are bolted to the floor under the seat. Sounds like the new ones are different.

Maybe time for a new pickup for me!!!

Locking boxes under the seat as part of the seat. Nice thinking. I didn't realize they had that as a feature. Very nice.

Great truck. I am driving a 2012 F250 6.7 powerstroke crew cab. It was my first diesel and I will never go back to a gas engine.
