CHL Badges ???

#1

Post by Pecos »

What is the porpose of a CHL Badge?
Is it so if you get in a gun fight to flash to let the LEOS know your a good guy in the heat of things? Just Curious.
I went to Pro Bass to look at there stuff & a concealment vest. I saw a CHL badge for sale in the holster section?
Is the Badge a "Dont shoot me" emblem? Rather than quickly flaching a license? Thanks. :confused5

I would say 90% of people on this board have the CHL Badge. The other 10% is made up of 9% which use the CHL sash, and those darn 1% that use the Tiara.

I wonder why people advertize having a CHL?

How would the badge be useful? I was making fun of it earlier but now Im curious.

I personally have multiple stickers on my rear truck window, like:

"I don't call 911"
"My two best friends are Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson"
"Gun Control is using both hands"
"Never mind the dog, beware of the owner" :smilelol5:

Which ones do you have?

An answer to the OP....NO, I do not have a CHL badge.

Think about it like this, how would it be going if Zimmerman had a CHL badge. My guess is not good.
21-Apr-09 filed online
05-Sep-09 Plastic Arrived
09-Sep-13 Plastic Arrived
21-june-18 Plasic Arrived

I had a "License to Ill" in 1986, but no I don't have a CHL badge. Do a forum search for it and you will quickly understand:

(A) Why I said what I said.

and

(B) What 99.9% of board members think of these badges.

Stay safe!

CHL badges serve 3 purposes:

1. To get shot by a crook because he thinks you are a cop.

2. To get arrested by the police because you are arrested for impersonating a cop.

3. The prosecution will consider you a wanna be cop if you get into a GZ type shooting.

You should get one to wear on your belt right next to your gun so that people will know you are a good guy if your gun is accidentally exposed and the cops will know you are there to back them up in the event you have an opportunity to back them up when the chips are down. They are a must have.

Another plus is that if they riot after the Zimmerman verdict, you can run into the riot, wave the badge, and the crowd will automatically respect your authority
