9mm Makarov ammo for trade or free to a good home
Long story short, a friend who wanted to shoot one of my pistols bought 9mm Makarov. I caught it before he had the chance to load into a mag, and traded him (since it was my gun anyway) for 9mm Luger. I have been holding on to it for almost a year in the event I get the chance to shoot a Makarov, but I figured someone could actually use it who needs it.
Here are the details:
50 rds 9mm Mararov (PPU ammo)
I don't need it, maybe you do. If you have anything you would like to trade (.223/5.56, .45ACP, 9mm Luger, .22 LR), cool. If you don't have anything to trade or just don't want to trade, and need the ammo, cool. I just want it to have a good home.
I live in McKinney and work in Plano. Happy to meet you somewhere.

I will be the first to admit I had to google the difference. Good catch!

Yea it will not work in anything that's not a Mac , I have a few guns that shoot it but we are stocked up pretty good , would rather someone else get it . Stewardship is an amazing thing to behold in practice .

I wonder how many new gun owners from the panic buying accidentally buy the wrong ammo. I used to work at an academy. I had to explain to them the difference between .308 Winchester and .308 marlin. They had the boxes mixed in with each other up at the front desk.nightmare69 wrote:I bought a box accidentally at academy a while back. All I saw was 9mm and got a box. Yeah it won't work.

Since the bar for stupid has been recently lowered, I would like to know the difference between Makarov and 9X18 or 9mm Largo, or 9mm Brevet or .380 ?

If yours is a 9mm Corto, that is .380 ACP round. It has several other designations like .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, 9×17mm and 9 mm Browning Corto (which is the CIP designation). More info on the round here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.380_ACP" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;1wise1 wrote:Since the bar for stupid has been recently lowered, I would like to know the difference between Makarov and 9X18 or 9mm Largo, or 9mm Brevet or .380 ?

I have a bulgy mak and could use it. Don't really have much in the way of spare ammo to trade though. Do you come out west at all? Plano is over an hour from me, I'm in Justin.
