Re: Texas - this is your Senator
Agreed, I supported Ted Cruz in the primary, mainly out of opposition to Dewhurst who I consider too much of a "go along-get along RINO" type of pol. I hoped that Cruz would be better, but didn't have any expectation that he would be as much of a force as he has turned out to be.
IMO, his credibility is documented by the scorn that RINO's like McCain, Graham, the Democrats in general and the standard liberal shills in the MSM have for Senator Cruz.

Nope. He was a citzen of the US when he was born. I was born in Germany to US Parents. I'm a natural born citizen, and have been all my life.equin wrote:Ted Cruz was born in Canada. I was a Cruz supporter in the primary much the same way, and for the same reason, as you describe. Then I heard him speak at a Tea Party event in our area. I was floored. I told my wife if this guy is half as good as he sounds, he'll be great.Jeff B. wrote:Agreed, I supported Ted Cruz in the primary, mainly out of opposition to Dewhurst who I consider too much of a "go along-get along RINO" type of pol. He's 10 times as good as he sounded.

Pretty much the same for me. I've been quite pleased that Cruz has done exactly what he said he would do in the senate. And honestly we need more of our senators to follow his lead and change the direction in Washington. Go Ted!

Every "complaint" about him has een over him doing something that was basically what he promised he would do. I know, I know, folks aren't used to politicians that do what they say they're going to do, but it's refreshing!
