4-25-13 Registered with DPS and paid fee online.
5-04-13 Took the class and was fingerprinted there.
5-06-13 Mailed packet to DPS regular mail so don't know when they received it.
6-04-13 Status updated to all received and background check pending.
6-05-13 Background check completed. Manufacturing Pending.
6-06-13 Manufacturing.
6-07-13 Mailed.

Haven't received it yet but figure I should get it today or tomorrow.

Background check completed... Now it's
Manufacturing pending... That seems pretty fast... Anyone else change that quick?

My wife has been in pending background check status since 06/04/13 and she has never even had a speeding ticket so there should be no hiccups. Somewhere I read they have to send off request and info to FBI to do the check. So the fact that yours went from pending background check to backround check completed in 24 hours is pretty amazing.

Mine is still "Waiting for Documents", so I decided to ignore the 30 day wait to call them. When I talked to the lady at DPS I told her that I wanted to confirm if they had received my documents and make sure that the reason that it still says "waiting for documents" is not because I missed something. She asked for my DL# and then said "We received all of your remaining documents on 5/28 and it looks complete. They are working on it". This makes me beleive that on at least some of the applications they are working on things behind the scences without the site being updated in a timely manner.

Wow congrats. Yours is the first I have seen on here that recieved plastic in that short of time. Mine took 62 days. 5 days for background.

It would seem like I did.. How is your timeline looking? I'm worried my chl will get here before my new holster... And my first year is gonna be short... Mid July b day haha
