I can just see someone trying this with an "accidentally" overloaded reload, say a .357 with a 125gr stuffed with titegroup...

From the TX Regs:
Projectiles (Arrows and Crossbow Bolts):
• While hunting game animals and game birds, a projectile may not be poisoned, drugged, or explosive.

So with that definition I guess Non-Game animals could be hunted with them.

Hmmm, I used to have a 12-ga bang-stick for sharks that worked similarly.

They used bang sticks on big halibut in Alaska.

And, I always wanted some of those Rambo arrowheads!
