send deposition?
I submitted my packet on March 21st with no update, which I am ok with...
I have a court certified deposistion for dui (+ 6years ago), should I just send it in, or wait for them to request?
If I should send should it be via fax or mail? I dont see a fax, so not sure if that is an option...
Thanks.

Re: send deposition?
You should have sent it in when you mailed your packet. I guess you could call DPS and see if they want you to fax or email it to them. They are going to need it anyway.
2/26-Mailed paper app and packet.
5/20-Plastic in hand.
83 days mailbox to mailbox.

Re: send deposition?
I don't think you would have done yourself any harm by sending it in initially. If they are going to ask for disposition information now that they are aware of your arrest and you didn't include the paperwork, you have just moved yourself from the "ridiculously slow" bracket of applicants (Those with no arrests who go through the normal app process) to the "take up to an additional 180 days which feels more like eternity" bracket.
On the plus side, you are not alone - I'm right there with ya! (sarc.)
(Sent packet with fingerprints on February, 3, 2013! - still waiting!)

Re: send deposition?
And for the record, in case that wasn't just a typo and you aren't clear on the difference, know that they will be requesting a DISPOSITION, not a DEPOSITION - two totally different things. If it was a typo, disregard.
Re: send deposition?
I didn't have the disposition until just last week.
I guess I will just mail it in.
Thanks!

Re: send deposition?
Since you didn't mail it with your initial packet, I would either wait until they request it, or contact DPS and ask if you can fax or mail it attention of a specific individual. Otherwise, they may not be able to associate the letter with your application as easily if they have not started processing it yet.jmain wrote:I didn't have the disposition until just last week.

Re: send deposition?
I would start by E-mailing a PDF version through the "contact us sect." Put the Barcode# in the body and subject of the contact Email. You can then snail mail, in addition. I had some "youthful incedents", that I sent the documents with everything else. Mine was processed with no more delay than what others had.jmain wrote:I submitted my packet on March 21st with no update, which I am ok with...
