This forum won't let me say what I'd like to say about this guy, so I'll say nothing. Suffice it to say he'd better not ever come to my house.Speaking on April 22, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said the Boston Marathon bombing forces us to change our interpretation of the constitution. He cited the left's success to date in eroding the 2nd Amendment as giving him confidence such re-interpretation is possible.
Bloomberg focused on how reinterpretation will allow us to trade more of our privacy for "a level of security greater than [we] did back in the olden days." This means more surveillance measures on buildings and cross streets, or, as Bloomberg put it, "more cameras and that kind of stuff."

It isn't just Bloomberg, even with all his Billions, he couldn't be doing/saying what he does without support. It appears that a huge majority in his part of the country, not only support what he is doing, but are actively involved in dispossessing themselves of those pesky rights. Even it seems actively applauding those efforts.
Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. Oversentimentality, oversoftness, washiness, and mushiness are the great dangers of this age and of this people." Teddy Roosevelt"

Here is Margie Lynch, of Malakoff, Texas, the woman who wrote that article...RoadRunnerTR21 wrote:It's not just people in Bloomberg's part of the country, it's also in my neck of the woods though not to the same extent. We need new people to represent us
The two Boston Marathon bombers only had to live in the U.S. about five minutes to figure out that the easiest way to kill Americans is to buy gun powder with no serial number identification and guns without a background check!
The Gun Lobby and the NRA special interests, along with their bribed "A" rated congressmen, have buried laws in long legislative bills against identifying gun powder by the manufacturer's serial number! How lucky can criminals be?
We the 92 percent need some more Bloomberg Patriots to step forward today because, as former U.S. Rep Gabriel Gifford says, "We need a different Congress!"

I think someone has had to much of Bloomberg's kool aid. Gun powder serial number? We the 92 percent? Seriously? How can people be so misinformed? (Don't answer that last question because I know the answer) She must be real lonely here because she is in the less than 5 percent in this area.

Oh, and by the way: it wasn't gunpowder. It was flash powder, used in fireworks.
Big difference. But even after the source of the powder was discovered and reported, the media continues to say it was gunpowder.

It doesn't come by accident, liberals work very hard at it and it takes them years sometimes to get it right.RoadRunnerTR21 wrote:It's not just people in Bloomberg's part of the country, it's also in my neck of the woods though not to the same extent. I admit to not watching any of the vast selection of TV shows that tell us all about forensics, so please excuse my ignorance...
How does a serial number help one track gunpowder? When you blow something up does the serial number imprint itself somewhere within the blast-radius?

"Taggants" are small particles in the gunpowder that somehow are traceable.Purplehood wrote:I admit to not watching any of the vast selection of TV shows that tell us all about forensics, so please excuse my ignorance...
