A change for Old Cannon

#1

Post by OldCannon »

So, as of May 1st, I am amicably departing my full-time computer nerd job in order to pursue my FFL business in earnest, much to my spouse's trepidation. I doubt a storefront will be coming soon, but I will have longer hours and (maybe) some more awesome things in inventory. There's a chance I might fail at this financially, but I love the business I've made, and I love helping my customers (many of you!) find (and learn) things that help them be a happier shooter.

With this decision, I will also be at the NRA Annual Meeting. Feel free to stop me if you see me and say hi...I'm the 6'1", lumbering redhead with the goatee :) I will likely be ambling around with a wooden walking stick that's about as tall as I am, not so much for support, but to make myself a little more visible.

Thanks! I already saw that and will likely use it!

I still can't figure out if I'm supposed to register or something. The NRA website isn't particularly...um...awesome.

No pre-registration now for the exhibit hall. If you don't already have your credentials, you'll have to stand in line at Entrance C or Entrance E to the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Hey Cannon, if I'm looking for a particular gun, can you find it? like the pink or lilac lc9?

Hello. My name is Red and I used to carry a .45. Now I carry a 9mm and it's getting easier to admit every day.

There are definitely pink ones. I'll see what I can find from my dealer network. :tiphat:

Just remember the great thing about having your own business is that you can work any 60 hours of the week you want!

It's all a matter of luck, and the harder you work, the luckier you get.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
