Anyone attending or have attended (in the past) the Houston Gun Collectors Show April 20 - 21, 2013 ?
Is this geared solely at collectors of rare and or antique guns ? Are there standard vanilla guns and ammo sold or traded at HCGA shows ?

It's the usual bunch. Might be a slight variation in product offering, but there's usually not a nickel's worth of difference from one show to the next.

I attended the show. It looked to me like prices are coming down on guns and magazines.

I saw Pmags Gen 2 and Gen 3 for $16.99 and less. That's a big drop from $50 prices.

I saw five or six Kel-Tec KSG shotguns. That's the most I've seen in any one place.

I saw two Tavor rifles, but both were priced too high. I want a Tavor, but I'll wait until more of them arrive.

It was Saturdday when I was there. The show was not crowded, and people were not stacked in line waiting to fill out paperwork.

I think the panic-buying is slowing. I did not see any anxious or frenzied buying.

Most ammo prices were still high, but dropping. There was no 300 Blackout ammo at all.

I saw a couple of dealers selling ammo purchased from Freedom Munitions.
