Re: Explosion at Boston Marathon
Ok, now that it is over, it starts again.
Naturally I suspect a news organization will pay the father to come to the US, so we can have lots of interviews about how good his son is and how the criminal justice system is stacked against the guilty. We will see his mom on TV, she will get a make over and a reality TV show. His Spanish Italian girlfriend, will be in Playboy.
I'm going to go for the defense that his older brother placed undue pressure on him to do something against his will. He was another victim of his brother's insanity. It wasn't his brother's fault either he had an undiagnosed mental disorder.
He didn't push the buttons to set off the bombs that was the brother. He didn't shoot the police officer, that was his brother. He convinced his brother to let the person they kidnapped go. He didn't make the bombs, his brother did. He didn't know they were bombs, he thought they just made smoke.
He or his brother never communicated with anyone outside of the US about their plans. There were never any others they discussed their plans with or received any kind of help. When they recently went back to Chechnya for six months, they just vacationed.
The AG will not seek the death penalty and he will plea a deal that will have him out in 20 years. He will be very sorry for what his brother made him do.
Sale of black powder will be banned even though its not the explosive they used. His attorney will sue pressure cooker makers for not having proper warning labels such as: "Do not put explosives inside, will cause harm" Walmart will stop selling them after nationwide protests.
He will write a book and become a celebrity to the left and will receive visits by movie stars especially Matt Damon.
No media attention will be devoted to how he and his brother were able to obtain guns in Boston or the fact that they were illegal.
The lady with the boat will find that it is a total loss and it is uninsured. The Mercedes will be repaired and sold to an unsuspecting buyer in California. The car will unexpectedly stop in two years and the mechanic will show the new owner a jagged piece of metal that was inside the fuel injector.
And some how it will all get back to how the killer felt discrimination.
Eventually it will be personally all my fault.

WARNING reply contains graphic pic of injured Boston bomb victim. Do not scroll down if you are not prepared to view the devastation the subject of this post caused.
I think this guy might disagree. I believe this image and images of the three dead people and images of the nine other people who lost limbs has already dictated the cowards fate.philip964 wrote:Ok, now that it is over, it starts again.

As per defense team claims, you are 90-95% correct. Most likely he would plea guilty and get life with no parole.philip964 wrote:Ok, now that it is over, it starts again.

Isn't that the guy who actually saw one of the brothers put down the IED that got him? I know one of the victims did and I think that's him.

Re: Explosion at Boston Marathon
I am by no means defending the bombers. I believe the one they captured should be executed (hung or electrocuted) or at a minimum spend the rest of his life in prison with no possibility of parole.
I cannot however help but think about the waste of life including the bombers. This fool (for lack of a word that can be used on this forum) not only helped take the life of a child and others, caused terrible suffering, and changed the lives of so many people, he threw away the rest of his life at the age of 19.
My heart goes out to the families of the deceased and those that were injured. I hope he is given the maximum allowable punishment but can’t help thinking about the loss all the way around.

FBI hunting 12 person sleeper cell in Boston. Bomb too sophisticated to learn off Google.

Re: Explosion at Boston Marathon
After all the billions spent and all the freedom lost the conduct of the authorities in this case is pathetic. The FBI admits this guy was known to be a potential terrorist, and it took the A WEEK to catch on, AFTER someone injured told them? The authorities locked down a city, due to one 19 year old, like we live in a police state, searched homes without warrant, and confiscated guns. And the "citizens" of Boston applaud the incompetence and the complete disregard of the Constitution. America is over.

It doesn't stop there. Oh no, by effectively occupying a part of the Boston metro area they made an utter mockery of the 4th Amendment. There was no "hot pursuit" and thus no argument available to them allowing searches of private property without consent or a warrant. Not only did they search without a warrant there were multiple reports through the day of seizure of firearms, among other things.

Re: Explosion at Boston Marathon
Other interesting facts which American media have dragged their heels to publish:
- Older brother was married to an American woman who converted to Islam on his behalf. They have a 3 yr old daughter:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... y-him.html - One of the bombs was planted beneath a Russian flag that was on display. Being Chechnian, was this deliberate?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... y-him.html - Younger brother caught by spectator camera, calmly walking away from the explosion of his bomb:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... orror.html - Younger brother partied with friends two days AFTER the marathon attacks.....acted relaxed and normal:

I've seen these on CNN and MSNBC... but I've been spending too much time in front of the TV.The Annoyed Man wrote:
