Former two-term City Commissioner and tea party favorite, Ed Braddy unseated incumbent Craig Lowe in Tuesday's runoff for Gainesville mayor.

Lowe, a member of Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns group, made the news, two days after last month's election when he was charged with a DUI.

Perhaps they need a different PR firm..
If I were hired, Id suggest a Name change to something like"

"Current and Former convected Mayors against inanimate objects that crooks and gang members in my city used against our citizens"

It would be more truthful, open and honest and not force out those poor victim mayors who are arrested, charged and convicted, later tossed out of office or not.

So this mayor wants to lecture the rest of us on guns, which are dangerous,
yet he gets sloshed, crashes his Honda in a ditch, and then takes a nap in the crashed car?
