Ted Cruz weekly address

Post by powerboatr »

I, like many others are on his email weekly updates list.
I thought I would share a few lines from his email.

"I'd also like to update you on the latest in what's happening in the Senate. Yesterday was Tax Day, on Thursday the Senate voted to proceed to gun control legislation that not a single Senator had the opportunity to read, and I released a report on the Obama Adminstration's attempts to expand federal power. I hope you'll keep reading to find out more and please share our latest newsletter on "

I wrote back about how can it be morally right or legal to vote on legislation if A. its not published and B. if its not been read by the person doing the voting?

its reminiscence of the "affordable health care act"

I like where he is going, I wish more would man up and stand with him from both sides
Proud to have served for over 22 Years in the U.S. Navy Certificated FAA A&P technician since 1996

I get his weekly email too and think it is a great idea that he sends it out. Instead of us having to reach out to him (not really a problem to do to make sure our views are known), he is keeping us in the loop automatically. I see is as one more way that he is really behaving as our voice in Washington. Instead of being out of sight, out of mind, he is up front with what he is up to and where he is going. Plus, I'll bet being proactive saves his office staff some headaches from people calling and writing to find out what is going on.
