I understand your point but it is too soon and comes across callused.

It is an act of parody. I would just like to get it on the front page so that people can join in.

I'm sure the Martin family finds this hilarious.

Re: In the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing...
Let me ask a question. If there was a gunman standing at the finish line and fired on people using a 223 rifle, would it be too soon for a petition to ban assault rifles? The OP would have reached the signatures in 30 minutes and been applauded among anti's. I know the tongue in cheek or trying for humor with this petition and missing the boat, but I don't understand if you remove the intent how it is wrong or too early?

I could see the anti's jumping on board big time.

I understand your point, however, there were 8 people killed and 23 others injured in Chicago this weekend (a typical weekend). Everything is political and one life in Boston is no better or worse than a life in Chicago.gigag04 wrote:I'm sure the Martin family finds this hilarious.

You saying they do it so it's ok for us to do it?
We should take the high road and not stoop to their level. We are right and they are wrong. If we continue to fight in the right way and stay with it, we'll come out on top.

We better be careful or we will be showing our DL to buy a pressure cooker or the chemicals used to cook these bombs.jmra wrote:RX8er wrote:Let me ask a question. I was listening to some news program today and the local BATFE agent they were interviewing said that he gets regular reports from the local hardware stores on the purchase of "bomb making materials" that customers purchase. That is scary!!!!
