Good class--PPOH
I enjoyed the first segment of PPOH. As usual, Charles & Marc make it interesting.
I'm looking forward to the shooting next week.
Should we order pizza again? It seemed to work well this time.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Sorry, keb...
PPOH= Personal Protection Outside the Home. It is a good course for determing when deadly force is or isn't necessary. Moreover, the course goes into strategies for surviving an encounter if you do use deadly force.
Much of the class is application based (ie, you practice on the range what you discuss in class).

Charles, how many rounds do you think we'll need next weekend?

Charles can correct me if he wants but I think if you have 200 rounds you'll be fine. Pizza would be okay with me.RedRaider wrote:+1...........good class, good pizza, good discussions, and good desert. The thread below discusses the upcoming NRA classes:
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... php?t=7010
The class discussed on this thread is the PPOH Class ("Personal Protection Outside the Home). Tomorrow is the shooting portion of the class and 2nd day, so you've unfortunately missed the boat on this class, however, I think Charles is offering it again during the summer. Hope this helps.
