What do you think will happen to firearms rights in this state if the Democrat Party takes over? Do you think they will leave it as it is? Yes, I know some Democrats in this state have voted to expand firearms rights. But I'd guess that will not last, especially if the national party snaps their fingers and asks for gun control...then the state party will do whatever their masters demand.

I stopped contributing to the RNC over a decade ago I have tried NRA, Club for growth, and now just make direct contributions to candidates who have the guts to voice their convictions and stick to it whether in my state or in a state that can help our cause of reclaiming our natural rights not just holding on to what we still have!!K.Mooneyham wrote:What do you think will happen to firearms rights in this state if the Democrat Party takes over? Re: Democratic donors set sights on Texas
The vunerability of the Republican party is due to the failures of the parties leadership...I've been saying this for 15 years...Not to much success from within the ranks of this party...
For the democrats to have ideals to turn Texas blue is a real threat to the rest of the country...And this is a credible threat to our freedoms and liberties...So, react accordingly...
Since I am involved in this directly, I would propose that I am in full support of Amnesty for the illegals in this country right now...Just get it over with...Nothing will stop this...Not with the current crop of quislings we have elected into office that are caving on this, yet another issue...
Now before everyone has kittens, I only have one condition...I will support Amnesty for those illegally in this country, if those who are granted this opportunity, that every single one of them are NOT allowed to vote in ANY election in this country for 25 years...I may boost that up to 30 years, if folks here do not see the brilliance of this concept...
Then we will see what the "real" move to push this idea is all about by the opposition party...
(let the feather fly!!!)

Re: Democratic donors set sights on Texas
My apologies about the link. They must do that thing where you can see the story for a short amount of time, then the paywall kicks in. Having read it rather quickly, I can say that it talked about an organization here in the state, but basically ran by folks outside the state who are dedicated to using the changing demographics (read: tell Hispanic folks that "racist Anglos" are "keeping them down" or some such, and that the Democrat Party will "fix" that) to get more Democrat candidates elected. Make no mistake, the money to do this will not just be coming from in-state lib-progs, but poured in from out-of-state big-money sources. Texas is the anti-California in many ways...and that burns the leftists like garlic to a vampire. I understand if folks don't want to support the national RNC but please don't let that stop you from voting for and donating to conservative candidates here in Texas AGAINST this Democrat Party take-over attempt.sjfcontrol wrote:Couldn't get to the article.
