Who has a baby eagle?

I've had this IMI "baby" Desert Eagle(semi-compact) for a while and absolutely love shooting it. I'm not a great marksman, but I can still put a 2" group with it up to 15 yards.

Main questions:
Is there a source for economical mags for it? I've found the EAA witness mags for about $40 a piece. It annoys me to only have one mag.
Anybody know a realistic value on it? It does show some wear from riding around in a holster in my truck, but I'd say it's in 'good' shape being that it should be somewhere around 20 years old...

I also just picked up its smaller, younger brother up today, an IWI Jericho 941B, BNIB from the local pawn store.

My FIL recently GAVE me a Baby Desert Eagle in .45! I had shot it when we were visiting him in AZ last year and complimented him on it. I liked the weight, and I was quite accurate with it. I really hadn't shot many .45s at that point, my carry weapons being .40 S&W. Anyway, he brings it the next time he is visiting, and says he wants me to have it. Only had one mag, so I ordered two from MRI @ $30 each, but they were way backordered because of all the insanity. I found a couple on eBay for $39 each, so bought them, and of course the ones from MRI arrived about 3 days later.

Anyway, have $138 worth of mags now, but since the pistol was free...

Now, if I could only find some ammo...

i have plenty of .45 ammo i could put down that barrel...

i just picked up a jericho 941b, the baby eagle's smaller, newer brother. compact version. still all steel. new in box, only manufacturer fired. nearly identical, aside from the IWI logo, and of course the size difference...

Any CZ 75 .40 cal magazine should also work. The Baby Eagle, CZ, and TZ all use the same magazines.

Good luck finding them, though. The craze is hitting just about everything.

in the same family...i picked up this collector piece at the reliant show this past weekend.

circa 90/91 IMI Jericho 941. original model with the 9mm AND .41AE barrel kits. wow. this thing is almost as old as i am. put 1 round of 9mm thru it just to make sure it functioned. shoots even easier than my .40 baby eagle.

I owned 2 for about a week. Bought his and hers for me and wife but could not get used to the small slide. Never felt like I could get positive grip on it when racking the slide. Also as a 1911 guy i hated that the safety works in the oppisite direction, push up for fire down for safe. The wife held it with a full magazine then went upstairs, grabbed her Kimber and ask "why would i carry that ton of bricks when I have Kimber?"

Traded one and sold the other, never looked back.
Happily serving in the USAF.
