Biden criticizes gun owners who are not hunters

Biden criticizes gun owners who are not hunters: 'They like the way it feels...it's like driving a Ferrari

Folks I just can't make this stuff up. Ol Shotgun Joe is at it again... Yes I am one of those EVIL gun owners that's not a hunter! Yep I am not a responsible gun owner! You know The Second is only supposed to be for those hunters!

From the looks of the picture I expect him to start saying PEW PEW PEW! As Buggs would say "Whats a maroon!"

....................................................

During a conversation about gun violence on MSNBC this morning, Vice President Joe Biden explained that there was a growing group of gun owners that might not understand guns as well as hunters.

“There is a whole new sort of group of individuals now who – I don’t know what the numbers are – that never hunt at all,” Biden said. “But they own guns for one of two reasons, self-protection or they just like the feel of that AR-15 at the range. They like the way it feels.”

Biden imitated holding a weapon and added, “You know, it’s like driving a Ferrari, Do you know what I mean?”

“My impression is there’s not the same sort of cultural norm about gun ownership with a lot of people who are buying guns now,” Biden added recalling a dinner he attended in Delaware sponsored by the "White Neck Hunting Club."

The hunters he met there, Biden explained, were "responsible gun owners" who wanted to pass restrictions on assault rifles.

"They are embarrassed with this notion that somehow these guys are being -- doing something that is inappropriate owning guns," Biden insisted.

He also remarked that if you use an AR15 to defend your home you could kill your kids! Just don't even want to start on the stupidity of these statements!

.......................................................

Vice President Joe Biden remarked that although gun owners continue to mock him for promoting shotguns as a weapon to defend your home, a shotgun is much safer than an AR-15.

“You know, they make fun of my saying about use a shotgun if someone’s invading your home - guess what, use a shotgun someone invading your home and you don’t kill your kids – use an AR-15, it goes through your wall and it can kill your kid in the bedroom.”

I would like to see a good video of someone clearing a house with a side by (full length) to show how awkward and cumbersome it would be.

Maybe, if you used bird shot, some of it wouldn't go through walls. What's the rule? Know what is behind your target.

If it feels like driving a fast and fancy car, and that's the only reason for owning it therefore it's ok to outlaw it, is he also going to outlaw fast and fancy cars?

"White Neck Hunting Club."

ANOTHER group of rich white men who think that the 2nd Amendment protects their right to own a $40,000 shotgun for upland bird hunting, but not the right of a poor person of color to own an AR15 to protect their loved ones and property.

Elitist crapulence.

The thing is, a round that won't penetrate the drywall in your house also won't penetrate the bad guy. Bird shot is for shooting birds. Buckshot and slugs are for shooting bad guys, and they will penetrate a wall. And SWAT teams also raid homes, which sometimes contain children, using weapons that shoot rounds that penetrate walls. I don't think there is a bigger idiot on the national political stage than Biden. I can't remember a national politician as stupid as Biden during my entire lifetime --nor one as shameless and ignorant of his idiocy.

I wonder if Crazy Uncle Joe would volunteer to stand on the other side of a normal, interior wall (made of drywall) while someone discharged buckshot or a slug at said wall? My guess is no. If he won't, then he knows the difference and is playing politics as usual. If so, then he is as dumb as he acts and can't be trusted around firearms. Either way, he shouldn't be listened to on the subject. :nono:

So if you own guns and don't hunt you are doing something wrong. But if you DO hunt, then PETA is going to make a big stink, so hunting is wrong too. Ever get the feeling that Liberals/Communists/Progressives just basically don't know what they are talking about?

Take a look at my new signature posting.
If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

Shotgun Joe and the Fudds. Sounds like a bad country band. Turn them off.

That small subset of hunters who feel that handgun owners should not avail themselves
of their 2A rights will be mighty surprised that their long guns will also be confiscated if the NRA
and others let ANY firearms owners rights be taken away.

Whatever anyone's mix of firearms are, we all have to stand together to protect one another's 2A rights.
