My time line may give you an idea. I live in a suburb of Austin and no plastic today! Not sure why the manufacturing went so slow.

Here's my timeline. We're pretty close

2/2 Took CHL Class
2/3 Submitted online application
2/8 Electronic fingerprints
2/11 Mailed packet regular mail
3/21 Application received, background check under review
3/29 Manufacturing
4/6 Mailed
4/10 Plastic in-hand! (Postmark date was 4/9. I'm in San Antonio)
It's all downhill from here! Good luck and be careful!
